Military Working Horses

Senior Airman Michael Terrazas, 30th Security Forces Squadron conservation patrolman, exercises Military Working Horse Buck Sergeant Feb. 22, 2019, on Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. Terrazas and Buck are part of the only conservation military working horse program in the Department of Defense, and work to patrol hard-to-reach areas of Vandenberg's 99,600 acres and 43 miles of coastline.
