Staff Sgt. Bert Mantilla, 30th Security Forces Squadron conservation patrolman, puts a bridle on Military Working Horse Trooper Feb. 21, 2019, at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. Trooper entered active duty at Vandenberg in 2010 and has helped to patrol 99,600 acres of hard to reach areas on Vandenberg, assisted on scene during riots and protests and has aided local law enforcement agencies in locating missing hikers.
