Senior Airman Michael Terrazas, 30th Security Forces Squadron conservation patrolman, tacks up Military Working Horse "Buck" Feb. 21, 2019, at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. Buck entered active duty service at Vandenberg in 2011. Buck has helped patrol 99,600 acres of hard-to-reach areas on Vandenberg, assisted on scene during riots and protests and has aided local law enforcement agencies in locating missing hikers.
