Japanese Air Staff College Commandant Visits Vandenberg
Japan Air Self Defense Force (JASDF) Lt. Gen. Jun Nagashima, Commandant, Air Staff College, discusses space object tracking with Lt. Col. Alfred Maynard, Operations Officer, 18th Space Control Squadron (18SPCS), and 18SPCS personnel during a tour of the Combined Space Operations Center (CSpOC) at Vandenberg AFB, Calif., April 13, 2019. During the visit Nagashima and Japanese officials received briefings about the Joint Force Space Component Command (JFSCC), CSpOC, 18th Space Control Squadron, and Multinational Space Collaboration (MSC) office.
