Crashing Tides Changes Airman’s Life
Staff Sgt. Christopher Parise, 576th Flight Test Squadron missile handling evaluator, reflects on a life changing event near Wall Beach Oct. 25, 2019 at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. On Sept. 1, Parise saved a Vietnam veteran, Al Freeman, from nearly dying in the cold ocean waters. Thanks to his military training, Parise knew how to help Al during the dire situation.
