A day to remember; Veterans Day
30th Security Forces Squadron Conservation unit patrolmen and Military Working Horses during the Santa Barbara Veterans Day Parade Nov. 9, 2019, in Santa Barbara, Calif. The 30th SFS MWH law enforcement unit is the only equine patrol unit within the Department of Defense and is one of four conservation units in the U.S. Air Force. The unit patrols hard-to-reach hunting and fishing areas at Vandenberg Air Force Base, monitors delicate beach eco-systems, and participates in parades and official engagements.
