Better safe than sorry: 30th MDG COVID-19 screening
Staff Sgt. Joshua Gowan, 30th Medical Group NCO in charge of Biomedical Equipment Repair, instructs Maj. Aubrey Reid, 30th MDG nurse, on how to properly wear a procedural mask at the 30th MDG COVID-19 screening point March 30, 2020, at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. While the 30th MDG is providing COVID-19 screenings primarily over the phone, they have set-up a physical screening point, at the front entrance, for individuals entering and exiting the medical building as a second barrier to prevent the spread of the virus. At the screening point, members are asked a series of questions to ensure they do not have any symptoms of COVID-19. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Hanah Abercrombie)
