Capt. Daniel Smith, 30th Space Wing launch weather officer, sews masks for hospital workers and base members April 14, 2020, at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. Volunteers from across base have utilized the Training Device Design and Engineering Center to sew masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. As of April 6, 2020, all base members are required to wear mask, so the volunteers began mass producing to help with the mask shortage. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Hanah Abercrombie)
