2020 Victim Services Summit
A panel of military sexual assault prevention and response professionals answer questions about their roles in supporting victims through the response, investigation and recovery stages of an assault, during the first-ever Victim Services Summit event, March 11-12, 2020, at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. This two-day event marked an expansion of the Volunteer Victim Advocate University, a program developed in 2017 by Vandenberg’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response office to provide training for Department of Defense credentialed victim advocates. The summit was held in an effort to train and educate a larger audience of individuals from both military and civilian communities. (U.S. Air Force photo by Michael Peterson)
