Tough conversations; addressing the past to improve our future
In light of recent nationwide events, Master Sgt. Cederic Hill, 614th Combat Operations Division Combined Space Operations Center theater watch chief, decided to share his story as a black man in America and the military. He explains how, at times, it is hard for others to talk through issues that have to do with racial bias, misconceptions or prejudices because military members are often told to not talk about race, religion and politics within the work place. He addresses the past and the tough conversations that need to be had to improve our future. (U.S. Air Force Photo Illustration by 1st Lieutenant Kaylee Schanda)
