Richard Cote, 30th Civil Engineer Squadron deputy commander, holds a picture of his granddaughter, Jaiden, June 24, 2020, at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. When Cote got stressed from work, he would look at his granddaughter’s pictures in his office, and they put things in perspective, making him smile.
