Hobby helps base COVID needs

Airman Sidney Brown, 30th Medical Group medical technician, reaches through a car window to conduct a drive-through COVID-19 test July 31, 2020, at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. During the COVID-19 drive-through testing, medical technicians come into contact with many potential COVID-19 carriers, so wearing proper personal protective equipment is essential. The face shield that Brown is wearing is one of many made by Maj. Jonathan Wavell, Combined Force Space Components Command targets chief, using 3-D printing at the base library.
