Be ready this flu season; get your shot
An annual flu shot is prepped and ready to be administered to Col. Anthony Mastalir, 30th Space Wing commander, Sept. 25, 2020, at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. By getting your flu shot, members can help prevent themselves and others around them from contracting the flu. The Center for Disease Control estimated during 2018-2019, flu vaccination prevented an estimated 4.4 million influenza illnesses, 2.3 million influenza-associated medical visits.
