Chief Master Sgt. Jason Delucy, 30th Space Wing command chief, speaks during a Veterans Day ceremony Nov. 11, 2020, in Santa Maria, Calif. Originally recognized as Armistice Day, this day marked the end of World War I and was formally celebrated on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918. Today, we celebrate this day as Veterans Day to honor past and present members who have served in the military, with the original tie of November 11th.
