Vandenberg Milestones - the year of Space Force
Dr. Scott Bailey, 30th Space Wing historian, and Emily Dreiling, 30th Force Support Squadron deputy director, display current base memorabilia, which was collected for a time capsule project as part of the U.S. Space Force birthday celebration Dec. 11, 2020, Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. The time capsule that will contain various base memorabilia to represent the year 2020 and first year of the U.S. Space Force, will be sealed until 2039 for the next generation of U.S. Space Force Guardians to open.
