18 SPCS, GSSAC strengthen interoperability through ‘Operator Exchange’ event
Operators from the German Space Situational Awareness Centre explore the Astrodynamics Support Workstation (ASW) during an ‘Operator Exchange’ event at Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif., April 6, 2022. The ASW was first adopted as an operational system in 1998 and currently maintains the Special Perturbations Catalog used for launch detection and tracking, conjunction assessment and collision avoidance, human spaceflight support, maneuver detection, breakup identification, and reentry assessment.
