30th Medical Group Conducts New Training Program: MEDIC-X
U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Richard Faria, 30th Medical Group Aerospace and Operational Medicine flight chief, facilitates the 30th Medical Group’s new service-wide training program, MEDIC-X, at Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif., Aug. 30, 2023. MEDIC-X is an Air Force Surgeon General initiative and equips all medical personnel with foundational skills to elevate patient care, readiness, and casualty management. Coupled with Tactical Combat Casualty Care, it enables collaborative responses during manpower shortages and enhances survival in challenging scenarios.
