Denim Day at Vandenberg SFB
Event coordinators of Denim Day 2024 pose for a group photo at Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif., April 19, 2024. The event coordinators participated in “Denim Day”, an event during Sexual Assault Awareness Month which encourages people to wear denim as a way to raise awareness about sexual violence and challenge misconceptions. The Department of the Air Force brings added awareness to this issue to emphasize resources and support available for preventing sexual assault. The goal is to promote open conversations and reduce stigma around seeking help. (U.S. Space Force photo by Airman 1st Class Olga Houtsma)
