U.S. Space Force Capt. Jamiel Trimble II, Cyber Initial Mission Analysis Team acquisitions focus lead from Fort George G. Meade, recreates a 3D model during “3D Printing Basics” workshop in the Crucible Innovation Lab at Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif., Feb. 12, 2026. The model will be used for “Game of Drones,” a recurring experimentation event that is focused on wargame-inspired scenarios for Counter-Small Unmanned Aerial System. The Crucible is working with the 2nd Space Launch Squadron to present a demonstration of a Micro-Air Intercept Missile (mAIM) rocket. Trimble is removing the supports from one of the 3D printed rocket bodies that will be launching at a stationary target for the demonstration. The workshop series provided the opportunity to learn and trial new skills in a casual format. (U.S. Space Force photo by 2nd Lt. Justin Lohman)
