Haley Homan, 30th Support Squadron outgoing commander, right, with the meritorious service medal during a change of command ceremony at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, June 23, 2026. Homan ensured continuity of operations at 30th OSS during the nation’s longest government shutdown, and helped maintain support capabilities for the western spaceport’s air and space missions. The 30th OSS is known as the “Jacks of All Trades…Master of Ops!” The squadron is composed of five flights: Intelligence Operations Flight, Maintenance Flight, Weather Flight, Airfield Operations Flight and Training Devices Design and Engineering Center Flight.
