Vandenberg SFB presents 4th Mission Update in Ojai
OJAI, Calif. – U.S. Space Force Col. James T. Horne III, Space Launch Delta 30 commander, describes aspects of the mission at Vandenberg Space Force Base for a crowd of attendees as part of the fourth and final planned Mission Update event held June 22, 2026, in the Kent Hall council chambers in Ojai, California. Mission Update is Vandenberg Space Force Base's travelling town hall designed specifically to obtain community feedback on base operations while sharing information about the base’s critical role in keeping America’s strategic advantage in space, increasing launch activity, and the science of rocket-induced sonic booms. Space Launch Delta 30 supports more than 54 mission partners from Vandenberg Space Force Base while serving as a key hub for the command and control of space assets around the globe.
