Santa Lucia Canyon Road fire

VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Emergency responders are currently working to contain a fire that started near the prison firing range off of Santa Lucia Canyon Road here at approximately 12:20 p.m.

Currently, the fire is under control; approximately four acres have burned.

There are no reported injuries or damaged facilities on base. The fire has not affected any base operations.
