30th Space Wing changes command Published May 2, 2007 By 040507 VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Col. Jack Weinstein relinquishes command of the 30th Space Wing here, to Col. Stephen Tanous, in a formal change of command ceremony at 10 a.m. Monday at the Vandenberg Parade Grounds. Colonel Weinstein arrived here in June 2005 and goes on to serve as director, strategic plans, programs, analyses, assessments and lessons learned, Headquarters Air Force Space Command, Peterson AFB, Colo. Colonel Tanous comes to Vandenberg from Peterson AFB, Colo., where he served as the 21st Space Wing vice commander.
