Jack Weinstein, 30th Space Wing commander, is hosting the event. Joe and Phil Sesto served the Central Coast since settling here in 1950 from Fort Wayne, Ind. From the start of their time here, the Sestos' served on multiple committees throughout the community including five decades involvement with the Santa Maria chamber of commerce. "The Sestos' selflessly served the men and women of Vandenberg for more than 50 years," said Colonel Weinstein. "Dedicating this pavilion in their honor is the least we can do for two extraordinary individuals who gave so much over the years."
