The Crucible

The Crucible is Vandenberg’s premier innovation lab, makerspace, and prototyping center. It's a collaborative environment open to all Team Vandenberg personnel (Military & Civilian) equipped with the tools, tech, and space to build physical and digital capabilities from the ground up.

Whether you are trying to eliminate a manual data-entry bottleneck or need a physical part fabricated on the fly, our team is here to help you scope and build a solution. The types of projects we assist with include:
