SLD 30 manages Department of Defense space and missile testing, placing satellites into polar orbit from the West Coast using expendable boosters (Falcon, Pegasus, Minotaur, and Atlas V), and supporting the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Force Development Evaluation program.
